Screenshots from Sleepwalker (Atari STe)
With gamplay a little similar to Lemmings (but in this case you played a dog who had to keep his sleepwalking master out of danger) and released in aid of Comic Relief one year (just don't ask me which year), this was a very good game that combined frantic scrambling around trying to get in the right position and do the right thing with long-term strategic planning adn a bit of comedy on the side. It's also noteworthy for being one of the only big commerical releases to take advantage of the STe's upgraded hardware and sound capabilities. It's also the only game I can ever remember giving you a "Comedy Rating" along with your score!

Screenshots from The Chaos Engine (Amiga A1200)
One of the few Amiga games I played (ST owners were sworn enemies of Amiga owners, of course! - but my mate had one ;-D), this Bitmap Borhters (yes, them again) game doesn't look much from the screenshots, but the gameplay was brilliant. Not that I was very good at it, but it was a superb game.
