Screenshots from The Curse of Monkey Island (PC) and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure (ST)

Guybrush Threewood (Mighty Pirate)'s adventures continue in this third, and my favourite, installment of the famous Monkey Island series. The Curse of Monkey Island's cartoony graphics suit the game perfectly, and it's as funny and contains as devious puzzles as ever.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure was one of the last great 16-bit point and click aventure games. The storyline followed the film pretty closely and it despite the somewhat failed attempt at incorporating a fighting system in the game (don't worry, play it right and you can avoid the fights anyway), this remains one of the all-time greats. Those caverns in Italy were a killer... but we sussed them out and completed the game in the end!

Indy of course has been more recently seen on our PC screens in LEGO Indiana Jones, another great game for the Indy franchise.
