This is a fairly simple console-style RPG which doesn't impress in terms of graphics, sound or depth of gameplay; however it's got some decent writing and battles that actually give you a challenge. So many freeware RPGs end up purely being a case of bashing the spacebar repeatedly in battles; this requires a bit more thinking. Don't expect smart NPCs and long, complex quests; however for good old-fashioned RPG fun which has the difficulty set a bit better (at least, harder) than most, you'll get some enjoyment out of Tales of Worlds.
