Not quite sure what to make of this one yet... the graphics look nice, the interface isn't bad, it successfully builds up a mysterious atmosphere and the humour is quite good once the game gets going; however there seem to be a huge number of locations with absolutley no interactable objects in them. It seems to me that the developers have tried to make it a cross between a traditional third-person adventure game and a Myst-like game... since I've never been a fan of the Myst games, this doesn't seem like a good thing to me.
Anyway, will keep playing and post again once I've got an overall impression of the game... it just crashed on me so I'm downloading the two patches available on the game's official site, hopefully that will sort out the problem I encountered.
